It is by no means a secret that I hate summers in Florida. It's just too friggin' hot here! With my job, I'm in and out of the car all day. And my car is a mobile oven. Ugh!
So, the nice people at NYX Cosmetics are on my happy list. They have a few products that are going to make my summer just a bit more tolerable. They helped sponsor the last Beauty Bloggers of Central Florida meet up, and here is what I have to share...
First of all, that is one of the cutest durn packages I have seen!! And inside were 4 full-size goodies.
Let me start with the one that is going to be a BFF this summer...
I have used blotting papers before. This is something that works great for my skin, as it will get shiny as the day goes on and down-right sweaty as the summer goes on.
Yet, NYX's Tea Tree Blotting Papers are just a bit better than the ordinary blotting papers. These have tea tree oil in them. Tea tree oil is known for its facial oil absorption properties. Now, I know not everyone likes the smell of tea tree oil. But this doesn't have a heavy scent. And, after using a blotting tissue, the smell does not linger. However, it is what it takes away that makes this Da Bomb...no shiny skin.
It wouldn't be too pretty to show you a used blotting paper, so I'll just tell you this: pressing the tissue onto the shiny areas of my face magically disappear and end up on the tissue. INSTANT RESULTS!!!
And, I really want to know how NYX knew to give me a pink polish?...
'Wild Orchid' will be getting a review of her own, very soon.
Next, I got a matte bronzing powder...
A little bit is all I need to warm up my complexion for a summer look.
And, an illuminating bronzer powder...
I am, actually, using the illuminating bronzer as a blush. This makes for a very natural look on me. Both of these give me the look of sun without the damaging results. Swatch posts will be coming up very soon on the bronzers as well.
Many thanks to NYX Cosmetics for their sponsorship. These go nicely on the vanity with my many other NYX cosmetics. I get my NYX Cosmetics at Sephora and I have ordered directly from NYX Cosmetics.
These products have been given to me for my honest review. The opinions are my own.

There just has to be another giveaway; Libby's Pink Vanity is approaching 300 followers.
Plus, I thought these items were super cute. So, here's the super cute 300 followers giveaway! WooT!
A cute pink and black coin purse, NYX's 'Sweetie', a mineral shadow sample of Hi-Fi Makeup's 'Last Words'
Payless Shoes is carrying a couple of lines of makeup. Seriously! The 3 mini polishes are: Ballroom, Dancing Queen, Twirl (2 cremes and a shimmer). The 6 lippie palette is 'Petal Pinks' and the shadow palette: 'Soft Petals' and it has 4 shadows; 2 matte, 2 shimmer, and 2 creme eye liners; one is blue and the other is brown.
Last is a cute shadow palette I found at Claire's. This one is...No Name!! Ack!! I hereby name thee, in the tradition of those that have gone before you, 'Pampered Petals.'
I saw these cute items and knew I had a giveaway in the making.
I love the packaging!!!!

Twinkle, Twinkle Little Stars
I won't bore you with any more glitter or sparkles, after this. The next NOTD won't sparkle. Well, I better not make that promise. Nevertheless, I don't wish to bore you.
Here are four more sparkles on the right hand over the 'Underground' Glam Goth, an Ulta collection.
Here's the sparkle vampires lined up. There's the unheard of 'Hidden Treasure' from Sally Hansen's Complete Salon Manicure collection (just kidding on the unheard of); 'Dive Deeper' from that same collection; an unnamed polish (oh, goody, I get to name it and I decided it was 'Pearl Jam') from NYX; and last, there is Milani's 'Just Browsing.'
Well, I didn't get a photo of the nails alone, but here they are with the bottles...
The index finger has defalcation (yep, you might have to look that one up...lol). It seems that when Hidden Treasure is on a black or near black polish, it flashes just orange.
Dive Deeper doesn't play well either. It's too milky, but has a ton of rainbow colored glimmer. There's a nick on that polish too.
Here's my precious. That 'no name,' aka 'Pearl Jam' is captured quite nicely out in the evening light. The color reminds me of a black light. This is my fav of this post.
Just an itty, bitty pinky nail with 'Just Browsing.' It's a nice irredecent shimmer. Doesn't seem to have that 'oo, ah' feeling to it. And I just noticed, it got a nick too.
My winner here is NYX. If it helps, the number on the bottom of the bottle is: 122705. If that means anything. ???
Got a favorite? Don't you think a black or near black is a surprise polish to see in the summer? I like nice, unexpected surprised though.
