Wednesday's Pink Cheeky Monkey

On Wednesday's, me and a group of other nail bloggers, wear pink polish. Check them out too.

This gem of a pink has been sitting on my desk long enough. It's time to share it with you.

With Cheeky Monkey polishes, you do not have to look on the back or the bottom of the bottle to see what the name is. It is written all around the bottle in all different fonts.

So, class...this one is named???? That's correct: it's 'Man Chaser.'

It's a pink with a fuchsia shimmer. Not too unusual but if you would like a pretty pink, this one is such.

I layered 'Man Chaser' with this glitter called 'Dancing Queen.' Here you see the little black tag that is attached to every bottle of Cheeky Monkey. They are all different. Seriously, I'm not too gaga over this quip.

Dancing Queen is a milky base with iridescent glitter with large hex iridescent glitter.

Do notice, that most of the glitter settles down toward the bottom of the bottle.

So, I'm going to layer it over 'Man Chaser' for a bit of pep...

The hex glitter wants to stick only to the top half of my nails. I worked on dabbing some of it down towards the cuticle.

It's cute; I'm just not gushy over it. I have on 3 coats of 'Man Chaser' and 2 coats of 'Dancing Queen.'

Some chit chat: I linked Man Chaser to the Hall & Oates song 'Maneater.' Want to see the epiphany of '80's hair and fashion statements? Check out this video. Also, notice the sax player. Doesn't he look like the sax player on the Muppets?

Who hasn't heard any songs by Abba? I linked a video of 'Dancing Queen' and, I have a question. How the hell did we get our hair that straight without flat irons? And, what are those little kids doing, dancing in front of the stage? I thought it was supposed to be a disco?

I bug the shit out of my friends because I ask so many questions. I just want to know a lot of things. So, do my questions bug you? ;P

Cheeky Monkey Nail Polish

It was very exciting for me to go to the Orlando Premiere Show on June 5. I went with Kari from Once Bitten Blog. We had such a great time. Kari wanted to check out Cheeky Monkey nail polish's booth. I'm so glad we did!

I got the low-down on this up and coming Canadian company from the President and Founder, Andrea Pahn. Here's me with Andrea...
She was a delight to talk with. She had traipsed all over the continent doing shows, yet was still excited and eager to share with us her polishes.

It was really difficult for me to narrow down the colors I wanted. Each one was drop-dead gorgeous. And the names, OMG! The Names! If you are a long-time reader, you know how I love fun nail polish names. Cheeky Monkey does NOT hold back! Click here and check out all the 'cheeky' names and colors.

The first shade I picked up was 'Never Go Back.'  Black. I mean seriously black. Black with a wet-looking shine...

Each bottle has its own unique name printed all around it. The tops are rubberized so that makes it so easy to hold. Printed in a ton of different fonts, the bottles are artful.

This is two coats and not a bit of a top coat used. It really is THAT shiny...

The leopard sticker, ala Incognito, is from another company. I got a sampling done. It does sort of accent the mani though.

'Never Go Back' is incredibly inky, shine with unending depth and stayed on my nails for days without so much of a chip or dullness to the mega shine. I have found my new, go-to black creme polish. :)

It is without a doubt that I will purchase more polishes from this fun polish company. They sure are not bashful.  I'm looking forward to sharing and swatching the other colors I got from them. Just stick around!!!

I caught up with a fierce man at the Premiere! I like a man with a six-pack...
I guess this Zombie-looking dude had lunch already. He didn't try to eat my brains.

Have you tried Cheeky Monkey? Looks like a fun company, doesn't it?
