It's Wednesday. On Wednesday's We Wear Pink. Pink it is...
It's a hot and very bright pink from Color Club's Poptastic collection. They named this one 'Warhol.'
I have had more comments and compliments from strangers while I have been wearing the colors from the Poptastic collection. These colors are truly attention-getters.
It does look like a smudge on my index finger, but it's just a reflection.
Do I dare try to make 'Warhol' POP (art) even more?
I got this Icing polish called 'Glamourous' many months back. It is one of the best holo glitters I own. I wish my car was this color instead of the run-of-the-mill silver.
This reminds me of the disco ball at a restaurant/club in my home town. After 10 PM, they moved the tables off the dance floor and we BOOGIED!!!
Here's the sad part, even in real life 'Warhol' stole the limelight right out of 'Glamourous.' 'Warhol' is just spectacular and doesn't need any help.
But in real life, Warhol really wasn't attractive. His face was taunt before we even started making fun of Joan Rivers...
He's Got Kenny Rogers' Eyyyyyyes' (sung to the song 'She's Got Betty Davis' Eyes').
I dig the art, though. :D

Wednesday's Pink Cheeky Monkey
On Wednesday's, me and a group of other nail bloggers, wear pink polish. Check them out too.
This gem of a pink has been sitting on my desk long enough. It's time to share it with you.
With Cheeky Monkey polishes, you do not have to look on the back or the bottom of the bottle to see what the name is. It is written all around the bottle in all different fonts.
So, class...this one is named???? That's correct: it's 'Man Chaser.'
It's a pink with a fuchsia shimmer. Not too unusual but if you would like a pretty pink, this one is such.
I layered 'Man Chaser' with this glitter called 'Dancing Queen.' Here you see the little black tag that is attached to every bottle of Cheeky Monkey. They are all different. Seriously, I'm not too gaga over this quip.
Dancing Queen is a milky base with iridescent glitter with large hex iridescent glitter.
Do notice, that most of the glitter settles down toward the bottom of the bottle.
So, I'm going to layer it over 'Man Chaser' for a bit of pep...
The hex glitter wants to stick only to the top half of my nails. I worked on dabbing some of it down towards the cuticle.
It's cute; I'm just not gushy over it. I have on 3 coats of 'Man Chaser' and 2 coats of 'Dancing Queen.'
Some chit chat: I linked Man Chaser to the Hall & Oates song 'Maneater.' Want to see the epiphany of '80's hair and fashion statements? Check out this video. Also, notice the sax player. Doesn't he look like the sax player on the Muppets?
Who hasn't heard any songs by Abba? I linked a video of 'Dancing Queen' and, I have a question. How the hell did we get our hair that straight without flat irons? And, what are those little kids doing, dancing in front of the stage? I thought it was supposed to be a disco?
I bug the shit out of my friends because I ask so many questions. I just want to know a lot of things. So, do my questions bug you? ;P

Wednesday's Pink Has Me Prodigious
On Wednesdays, I wear pink. So do some other nail bloggers. And I highly recommend that you add each one to your follower list.
Today's pink is all around feminine!
'Get A Clue' is from Color Club's Alter Ego collection. I have deemed 'Get A Clue' as my go-to new, pale pink polish.
Who can be offended by this color...
I have 2 coats on. Now, I think that 3 would have done it better justice. One reason is that I can almost see visible nail line on my index finger. And it is user error on the thumb for the streaky-ness. Yet, as a soft, creme polish, it is a GO.
Wanna see how it jazzes up?
Let's take Sally Hansen's new crackle, 'Fuchsia Shock'. And let's also work with Kleancolor's 'Aurora.'
Who's your baby, now??? Yea...BABY!
I doubt there are many polish-wearers that would create this look and actually wear it. But if you are; Hello, kindred spirit!!!
I have one coat of 'Fuchsia Shock' and 'Aurora' on. Now, what I wish I would have done is try 'Aurora' over the crackle. That just might be a pink mani for a 'fuchsia' Wednesday. ;p
These are the polishes used for this look...
Is there any doubt I wear pink on Wednesday?

OPI's Rally Pretty Pink Takes the Court with Red Shatter
It was time to have some fun with Pink...
Did you pick up the OPI duo from the Serena Williams collection, 'Rally Pretty Pink' with 'Red Shatter'?
So, it IS a different sort of pink...
However, I. am. loving. it.
Purply-pinky glittery stuff.
I could have stopped right there too. But I was way curious to see what the 'Red Shatter' would do...
Gee, whiz!!!
Frankly, I am surprised at how well these complimented each other. Or, maybe I should say, they complimented each other better than I expected. I never question OPI's collections not working together, however. So I was delightfully surprised that I liked this VERY much.
Me, along with a host of other wonderful nail bloggers are part of On Wednesdays We Wear Pink group. Click here to find others that have some pink-lovin'.
If you have 'Red Shatter,' are you thinking about what else you can combine it with? Do you think 'Rally Pretty Pink' is just fine alone, too?

I Eat Popcorn When I Watch Drama
It's Pink already! Actually, I thought it was Thursday today. I asked hubs why he didn't pick up the trash last night for garbage collection. He told me he'd do it Thursday night and not Tuesday night. Whoa, I was off!! Lucky for me, I got my pink on anyway! So do these loveliest of lovely bloggers. Go see for yourself.
Listen. Do you hear that noise? Seriously, it's me munching on popcorn...
Popcorn is half the reason I go to the movies. The other half, of course, seeing the movie.
One thing I do not like in my world is drama. Give me my popcorn and just let me sit and watch it, but I don't want to be in it.
Just 'Sparrow Me The Drama'...
From OPI's Pirates of the Caribbean collection, that's the name of this cutey, dusty pink. It's looking a bit too dark in this shade photo. Check out the ones below for a more accurate color.
Here is shows its pretty pink self. For a polish that has the word 'drama' in it, there's not a bit of drama in working with this one. I have 3 coats and no top coat. It doesn't have a high shine by itself, yet that just adds to the demure look of this pink. In the thumb photo, it has got a streaky point. But, I think another coat would have smoothed it right out.
No denying that this is the color of pink I love. Not like baby-doll lips but a grown-up woman's pink. And you KNOW, there are women out there that should really sit down and play with their dolls because out in the real world they will stir up nothing but drama.
Munch, munch, munch!!
OK, that's corny.....
Are you a popcorn muncher or are you the star of your own drama?
