Orange Polish to Usher In the Halloween Season

Posted by Libby's Pink Vanity at 10/01/2010 07:22:00 PM
I'm about ready to wrap up my giveaway.  It ends tomorrow at 10 PM, EST.  Go here and enter if you haven't already.

What's the first thing you think about when you hear the word 'pumpkin'?  I think of Starbuck's Venti Soy No Water 3 Pumps Pumpkin Spice Chai Latte.  I don't mean to be one of those 'people' that come in and rattle off a long list of requests.  However, the reality is, I am.

Next guess is ... Pumpkin Cheesecake!!  I think I better hurry up and get this post done, I'm getting hungry!

One place I like to grocery shop is Whole Foods.  While I was there a couple of weeks ago, I got this pumpkin orange nail polish...
Kinda purdy, I thought.

I've never heard of this brand or company before.  And, quite frankly, I never had bought nail polish at Whole Foods either.  No Miss Nail Polish website makes a deal out of being 3-Free.  But, we all know that this is not an uncommon occurrence.  Lots of companies are Three-Free.

Oh, and the site says that it's 'nature smelling.'  What the hell does that mean?  It smells like nail polish!  It was $8 for this bottle so, in the scheme of my hobby, I picked out this orange to review and share with you.

"Tamarac Tangerine"  Hey, I just learned something.  The polishes from No Miss are all named after cities and areas in Florida!  Well, hell, if I would have known that I would have picked "Orlando Orchid"!!!  OK, I like this company just a bit more, now.
Sebastian likes it too.  Look, I've got everyone in my house to kiss my feet!

It's a shimmery frosty orange.  A bit watery so I used 4 coats of color.  And I have Seche Vite as my top coat.  Bottle is nice to hold and the cap makes application easy.  Its brush is long and thin which makes polishing my toes a bit more than tricky.
I like it well enough to have it feature the opening ceremonies for October at Libby's Vanity.

Maybe I should share this with Tara at For Your Nails Only.  I bet she could make a real pumpkin look with this orange.  If you have not visited Tara, click over to her site and see some nail art that will make you forget to say 'Trick or Treat!'

Are you going to wear any orange polish during the Halloween season?
