For the past week, this blogger has been a busy one. Starting with last Saturday, I was invited, in part with the Beauty Bloggers of Central Florida, to a breakfast by Neiman Marcus. The Neiman Marcus at The Mall of Millenia in Orlando, Florida, is one of the friendliest. There is a lot of passion in the cosmetics and fragrance departments.
The fine people at Neiman Marcus invited us to come learn about some of the cosmetics and fragrances available at their store. We were divided into 4 groups and then rotated around to four stations with experts ready to show us the newest and best products from an array of companies.
We joined together early at Neiman Marcus...
Next, we got some group photos before heading in. Can you tell that we are not only Beauty Bloggers of Central Florida but we are also BEAUTIFUL!!!!
Above, yours truly on the far right.
Steph, with Imperfectly Polished, on the far right, helped coordinate our gathering with Neiman Marcus.
And once we were in, we got treated as regal guests. Mimosas and sweets...
Hi, Maria! Hi, Cat!
Above is the Chantecaille line. This is a line that is new to me however, it is a world-renown cosmetic line.
The always beautiful Estee Lauder line. I adored this large selection of blushes.
Bobbi Brown's current collection.
The Kate Somerville line. Again, a new to me line but, can I just say wow. Save yourself a pricey trip to the medspa and check out these raved-about facial treatments.
Ohhh, Chanel has some loose sparklies!
Tom Ford's line of exquisite fragrances.
Some of the most popular Laura Mercier products.
Guerlain has the prettiest blush/bronzer shades.
Can I just take this entire counter home?
This is the famous Giorgio Armani foundation brush. It is so soft. I think it is the softest makeup brush I have ever felt!
A Summer collection of hot polishes by Le Metier De Beaute.
I got to sample a few of the newest fragrances and was in love with them all. I was fortunate enough to get a few samples to try at home.
Deborah Lippman nail line not only has swanky nail polish colors, but a nail treatment line that is very well-known, even though the company doesn't do advertising. It's all word-of-mouth.
And my favorite pick...Kiehl's Company. I have only seen these products in magazines. It was so informative to have the product expert explain the history and spotlight some of the products for us. However, all the companies did an outstanding, short seminar of their products. I am totally impressed with the intense passion each of them have for their respective companies.
Thank you, Neiman Marcus, and to you too, Steph, for bringing us together to show us the best of the best in the cosmetics and fragrance world.
