Today I am reviewing 'Well Rested Eyeshadow Concealer.'
Many people say they have dark circles under their eyes when, in fact, they just have thinner skin.
This is dark circles under the eyes...
Raul Julia was known for his dark circles and bags under his eyes.
However, if you do, there is a fix for you. And, I use this concealer to lighten up my eye area.
Using the makeup brush you see in the first two photos, I pat on a very small amount of this mineral powder under my eyes. I don't swipe it, I pat it very gently. I also put this on before I put on other eye makeup. I do this because if there is any fall-out, I can use a fan brush and sweep it away rather than mixing the 'Well Rested' on top of that.
This 5 gram container has lasted me for eternity. Since I don't need much and you should always use the least amount you need, my jar has lasted a long time.
'Well Rested Concealer' doesn't change the color of my skin, it enhances it. Here I patted some on my hand...
I did pat on a bit too much because, I did want you to see SOMETHING! As you can tell, it blurs the skin lines and discolorations. It doesn't really have a shimmer to it but seems to have a teeny hit of sheen to it to reflect light. But, there is also a 'Well Rested' that is in a matte color that you may prefer.
'Well Rested' comes in several sizes...
-A sample bag, that will last approximately 3 uses is $3. This is perfect to get along with the matte color to see which you like best.
-A Starter jar is 1 gram in a non-sifter jar that will last you about 1 month. It's $6.95.
-The Full Size jar has 2.8 grams. The jar has a sifter and it will last about 6 months. It costs $10.95.
-And the refill bag is $13.95, lasting well over a year.
These usage lengths are approximate as I have had my Full Size jar for over a year. However, do note, I don't have the dark circles, I'm just lightening up my eye area.
And speaking of which, you can use 'Well Rested' as a shadow base color, lighten up spots of discoloration (I'd recommend the matte for that), lightening up the inner corners of the eye and, for accenting the bow on the upper lip (a trick for a thin upper lip to look fuller).
This may just be the product you are looking for. It is, without a doubt, one that I highly recommend.

My sister uses a mineral concealer for under her eyes and loves it - I have always wanted to try one. It would be perfect on those days when I missed out on sleep, because whenever that happens all of my students tell me I look "so tired." haha! Nice brush too!!
