Posted by Libby's Pink Vanity at 7/31/2011 05:53:00 PM 8 comments
It is very meaningful to me to meet beauty bloggers from all around the world. Seriously. Did you ever think you'd have friends in Europe? Canada? Even in an entirely different state, without even leaving your home? It boggles my mind. Yet, I wouldn't have missed it for anything.

I have asked a few of my new friends to share with me, so that I could share with you, a bit about themselves. I'm thrilled to share and to call these bloggers friends.

I Have No Clue Which OPI Mini This Is

Posted by Libby's Pink Vanity at 7/31/2011 01:01:00 PM 9 comments
OMG! I have a TOTALLY BOSS new blogspot design coming up! I can't wait to show you.

In the meantime, I'm clearing out working through older swatches and photos. I have a feeling if I don't get through them, with all these gorgeous Fall collections coming, they will get sent to the cornfield.

So, let's get started...

And this is one of those cute OPI minis from a collection. But damned, if I can figure out which one. I checked the Burlesque collection thinking it could have been one from there. But it doesn't match any of the swatches I googled for.

That is exactly why I have purchased sticky dots, recently, to label the bottles. I have many Color Club bottles that are not labeled either. I know I thought I'd remember what collection this one came from, at the time I swatched. But, how silly is that thinking I could rely on my memory. Sheesh!

It is sparkle-mungous! And, it is more purpley in real life. And with that, I can only show swatches of this pretty color because all I know it that it is an awesome OPI mini.

If anyone can help me ID this, please let me know. I'll be totally grateful. Til then, I think I'll wish myself off into the cornfield.

Psychedelic Sunshine Summer Lovin'

Posted by Libby's Pink Vanity at 7/29/2011 10:19:00 PM 10 comments
This is a fun one. It reminds me of this song.

Finger Paint's took my black heart and filled it with sunshine ala 'Psychedelic Sunshine'.

With the new, Fall Finger Paints newly released, I gotta get these Summer ones on here for you to see. Gangway, Comin' Through....!!!!!!

Just stand in awe at this yellow jelly belly....

There is a whole bunch of iridescent glitter going on in this yellow jelly polish.

Yes, it is true; I still have VNL after 2 coats. However, it is not very noticeable in real life. I think the gummy goodness of the 'Psychedelic Sunshine' makes me not worry about that.

On my thumb, it seems like it would be gritty, but again, it's just an illusion. 'Psychedelic Sunshine' is thick, but not gritty. And I like my nails at this length. I'm still growing out the divets from the nail tech driller episode, but am on my way back to this length.

If you like jellies, don't you think this one is divine? I caught an earworm during this post....this is it. Bucket List for me: Dance with John Travolta. aw haaaaaaaaaaa!
